Dec 2011 - Fosse House Newsletter - December 2011

We wish all Residents, families and friends a very Happy Christmas and New Year.

We hope everyone has enjoyed the events and activities held to celebrate Christmas throughout December.

We have been visited by the students of LSST Priory Academy singing carols and we also enjoyed an evening with the Salvation Army choir and band.

Christmas Craft Fayre
On 26th November, we held our Christmas Craft Fayre and raised an impressive sum of almost £500, which will go towards the new hair salon.  We hope everyone is pleased with the new salon.

Wedding Anniversary
We were delighted for Mollie and Vernon Smith, who celebrated their Platinum 70th wedding anniversary on 20th December.  To celebrate this very special occasion, a special cake was made and Squadron leader Gray from RAF Waddington came along to present Vernon and Mollie with a card and flowers.
