Feb 2012 - Pancake day
Many of our residents were top class chef's in their day. Unfortunately,none of them joined us on this activity today so, the resident cooking crew of Mayott house came together which usually means a foodfight or some kind of riot. Somedays though,magic on a plate happens. Not today though. The chickens in the garden had our attempt and thank heavens for Tesco's ready made! Seriously though after scraping it off the floor, it didn't taste that bad atall! Meanwhile,resident Jim Jenner celebrated his 102nd birthday as we ate our fasting food to a letter from Buckingham palace telling him they wont send him another card until he reaches 105. The cheek of it!
