Mar 2010 - March at The Elms
March has been a really nice month at The Elms.
On the 2nd of March some residents went down to Bristol Zoo for the day. Everyone had a fantastic time. The sun was out and the weather was kind to us. All the residents loved looking at all the different animals - from the giant fish to the butterflies. Residents particularly enjoyed feeding the birds. We had sausage and chips for dinner and a coffee which went down very well. Everyone had a lovely day and said they would like to visit again soon.
Also in March we had a residents friend come in to play the organ for us everyone had a great afternoon singing along to some of their favorite songs.
On the 31st of March the children from Park Infant School came in to sing us Easter songs. The children brought with them bunches of daffodils to give to each resident which really made their day .Everyone had a smile on their face.
