Care Assistant - Day or Night
Working as an integral member of the team, you will show warmth and compassion to our residents, providing support to our residents and their families and helping to promote independence and dignity to positively enhance the lives of the individuals whose care has been entrusted to us. Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of the people you are looking after. You will often be helping people to wash and dress, eat and drink and go about their daily activities. It will be important that you know what makes a difference to them and what makes them smile. Care work is challenging but very rewarding and we provide many opportunities for you to develop your career as your experience grows.
As an Activities Co-ordinator you are essential to the well-being of the residents who we support. Our Trust ethos is to make our homes vibrant, joyful communities with a wide range of stimulating activities and entertainment available to suit every taste. You will need to get to know our residents and their families in order to tailor an on-going programme of activities and events, aimed at promoting independence and social engagement and ensuring that everyone has personalised involvement that suits their individual needs.
Senior Care/Care Leader
As an integral member of the care team you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting your care team, ensuring they are providing high quality care and service to all our residents at all times. You will play a key part in care delivery in the home, ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will take an active part in engaging with residents to understand their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.
Head of Care
As an experience individual within care this is the next step on your career ladder before reaching a management position. The purpose of this role is to lead the whole care team by providing strong care knowledge, support and guidance. You will ensure that high standards are achieved in all areas of the home, including the delivery of person-centred care, clinical and dementia care, that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met and that company policies and procedures are followed, within the framework of the corporate values. The Head of Care will deputise for the Home/General Manager in that person's absence.
A professional and dedicated Home Manager is crucial to the successful running of our homes. The Home Manager is responsible for ensuring our residents receive the highest standards of care, whilst also maintaining the commercial viability of the home they are managing. You will lead both the care and support teams to strive for excellence in all areas of service provision. As Home Manager you will live by the Trust values and act in compliance with all relevant legislation. You will maintain a strong relationship with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and all other relevant statutory and regulatory organisations. With your passion for the job you are undertaking, you will have the ability to motivate and develop your team to provide care that is second to none for our residents.
