Care is at the heart of everything we do. This applies equally to the service provided to clients in our Extra Care Housing schemes. Here's a summary of the roles available in this important and growing area of care provision.
As a Domiciliary Carer you will work as part of a larger care team to enable clients to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible according to their own wishes. You will visit clients in their own apartment within our Extra Care (ECH) scheme and deliver a personalised care plan. Your duties will, therefore, include assisting the clients with daily living activities, maintaining their dignity, privacy and independence as far as is possible.
Domiciliary Care Leader
As an integral part of the domicilary care team, you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting your care team, ensuring they are providing high quality care and service to all clients at all times, according to individual care plans. You will actively seek to further develop the service in line with the community needs.
You will promote the Trust's values at all times and ensure that our clients' needs are managed with dignity and respect for their privacy, in a manner that allows them to maintain independence as far as is possible.
Housing & Care Manager
The Housing & Care Manager is responsible for the management of the ECH Scheme and the service that is provided within it. This includes the overall management of the care team, the efficient and effective day to day running of the service and further development of the service in line with community needs and the requirements of the business. You will maintain a strong relationship with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The Housing & Care Manager is critical to ensuring client well-being by promoting dignity, privacy and independence, choice, rights and fulfilment.
