You will lead and support the care team to provide the higheset quality care, making critical decisions and leading on clinical issues within a person-centred care model. Head of Nursing
This position will provide the next step on the career ladder for nurses before reaching a home management position. The purpose of this role is to lead the care and nursing team, providing strong clinical knowledge, support and guidance. You will ensure that high standards are achieved in all areas of the home, including person-centred care, clinical and dementia care, that all statutory and regulatory standards are met and that company policies and procedures are followed, within the framework of our corporate values. The Head of Nursing will also deputise for the Home/General Manager in that person's absence.
St John Admiral Nurses
We employ St John Admiral Nurses in each of our regions. Admiral Nurses are dementia specialist nurses who provide support to carers of people living with dementia. The St John Admiral Nurses support our care teams and link in with nurses in our care homes to provide skilled assessments and support with care documentation. They will also provide reflective support to care teams and emotional support for care related issues for all employees, as well as for families of people living in our care homes.
