Salary: £8.21 - £8.56 (plus weekend enhancements)

Hours of work: 20 hours

Patchett Lodge Care Home, Holbeach offers compassionate, individualised residential and respite care for up to 28 residents in a homely, comfortable and safe environment. Our home benefits from being situated in large, attractive grounds close to the centre of the small market town of Holbeach.

We are now recruiting an Activities Co-ordinator to join our team!

We are currently looking to recruit an Activities Co-ordinator to support and work along side the care team to ensure our residents have the highest quality of life possible.

Duties will include arranging group and individual activities and entertainment for our elderly resident. You will need to get to know all of our residents well and build strong relationship with them to ensure you are providing engaging, stimulating activities that are of interest to them. You will be expected to tailor your activity and entertainment programme to ensure there is a person centred approach that suits the needs of individuals. You will also be responsible for group and home activities which may include volunteers or the wider community such as trips and open days.

Applicants should be highly motivated, be an excellent communicator and have good organisational skills. Previous experience of working within a care environment is essential. QCF or NVQ level 2 in care would be an advantage but is not essential.
