Location: Grace Care Centre, Thornbury, BS35 2FR.
Salary: £8.35 per hour
Hours of work: 20 hours per week (Thurs + Fri 1600-2000, Sun 0800-2000)

The Grace Care Centre is a state of the art 70 bed specialist dementia care centre, offering the opportunity for residents to live in luxury surroundings, with experienced care professionals on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are delighted to be working with the University of Sterling Dementia Services Centre to ensure we meet their Gold Standard in dementia design so we are confident that our new home can fully support those living with Dementia.
We are currently looking to recruit an Admin Assistant to join our new team!
As an Administration Assistant you will support the Home Manager and Bursar in a full range of administration activities to assist in the running of the home. You will often be the first point of contact for enquiries and act as front of house greeting and helping visitors in the home. You will help direct deliveries and supporting other employees with enquiries such as payroll and new starter paperwork.
You will be an integral part of the home and you will get to know everybody including residents, their families, employees, local GP’s, district nurses, volunteers, Trust and other external visitors. As an Administration Assistant you will need to be efficient and organised and have the ability to keep calm when things get a little hectic!

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
For this role you must:
- Have a GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths (Grades A-C)
- Be IT Literate in Microsoft Office programmes.
- Be able to work independently and priorities own work load.
- Have a caring and calm approach to our residents and their relatives.
