Carer / Healthcare Assistant

Location: Lydney, Forest of dean
Pay: £8.38 per hour (+0.30p per hour with QCF/NVQ)
Hours: Bank positions available
The Orders of St John Care Trust is the 2nd largest not for profit care provider in the UK specialising in providing high quality, person centred care for older people, in care homes and extra care housing. Rodley House is a 42 bed nursing and residential home based in the heart of the Forest of Dean. Rodley House is well known in the local community for its welcoming and friendly team. The Home is about a mile from the small town of Lydney. The home has a wealth of activities for our residents that we are sure you will enjoy being part of the team to engage with our residents
We are now recruiting Carer / Healthcare Assistants to join our team.
Care is at the heart of everything that we do. Working within the Care team you will show warmth, compassion and support to our residents and their families; helping to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.
Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of people you are looking after. You will often be helping people with their personal needs as well as supporting them to go about their daily activities, but you will know what makes a difference to them and what helps to put a smile on their face.
