Salary: £9.12 - £9.47 (plus weekend enhancements)

Whitefriars Care Home, Lincolnshire offers compassionate, individualised residential and dementia care for up to 57 residents. The home is situated in a quiet residential location, close to the historic centre of Stamford. The town centre is within walking distance and there are local amenities close by, including Stamford & Rutland hospital, retail park and leisure pool.

We are currently looking to recruit a Chef to join our team!
Nutrition is an important element of the care package that we provide.
You will be actively involved in the nutritional needs of the Residents, using seasonal ingredients whenever possible, creating tasty dishes taking account of any individual dietary requirements and preferences and are carefully balanced to get best nutritional value too.
Our team also loves to cater for special events, like birthdays, or special events such as our summer fete when visitors from the local community come and join us.
You will accommodate and respect the individual needs of Residents in line with both their care plans and personal preferences.
You will get to know the residents and build relationships with them along with their families. This position is an integral member of the team within the Home.
Alternate weekend working will be required.

Requirements for the Role:
For this role you must:
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
