We have an exciting Domiciliary Care Assistant vacancy at Towse Court in Goring on Thames.
Pay: £9.00 per hour
Nights: £9.80 ( waking nights )
Shifts:07:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-07:00
Location: Goring on Thames, Oxfordshire
Hours of work: As required - Flexi hours

Towse Court in Goring, opened in April 2015, is a retirement living development with 40 apartments that offers onsite domiciliary care tailored to your needs to allow people to live independently in their own homes. The Orders of St John Care Trust were appointed, following a rigorous selection process, to provide the onsite care services.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are the kind of person that is willing to make a difference in people’s lives but cannot commit to standard office hours or is only available a few days a week. The ideal candidate will be someone that enjoys caring for people, but seeks a zero-hours contract for improved flexibility and work-life balance.
Our zero-hours staff are a vital part of our business, and due to the nature Domiciliary Care, we guarantee a wide set of hours every week.
The shifts will range from a few hours to as much to full-time hours, depending on the clients’ needs. The Schemes are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so there are many options in terms of rota, with short or long days, evenings, night shifts, late hours & weekends.
Your care duties will be varied and include assisting the clients with their needs and daily living activities. This can include personal care, light housekeeping and wellbeing appointments. You will support the clients to maintain their dignity, privacy and independence at all times. Travel is not required ( you won’t have to travel for your visits,) as the flats are all based in the same building.
Previous experience working as a carer or domiciliary carer is an advantage but is not essential as we give full training.
