• Tables set ready for afternoon tea
  • Residents enjoying the delights of afternoon tea

On the 15 April residents staff and volunteers from Fosse House, Beckside, Boultham Park House and Foxby Court attended afternoon tea at Doddington Hall

We were greeted by a lovely young lady who showed us into the garden room which had been set up beautifully for us, the tables were set ready for afternoon tea. The salmon and cream cheese sandwiches, cream scones and various cakes were thoroughly enjoyed and washed down with several cups of tea.

The room looked out over a cottage garden which was full of spring flowers, as the weather was so beautiful we were able to have the doors open and enjoy listening to the birds in the garden.

Following tea some of the guests wanted to go and have a look at the treats the shop had to offer while others were happy to enjoy sitting in the beautiful sunshine.

A great afternoon was enjoyed by all.

We would like to thank the Companions for their wonderful donation towards this trip which enabled our residents experience a fantastic day out
