The Lakes Care Centre in South Cerney held their Very Victorian Christmas Fayre on Thursday 29th November with over 120 attendees!

The Victorian Christmas Fayre had many stalls ranging from Christmas ceramic bunting to jewellery and handmade cards so people could really get into the Christmas spirit and start their Christmas shopping.

The Lakes held a raffle with some amazing prizes donated from the local community and the stall holders. The raffle alone raised over £100 which has gone towards the homes amenities fund so our residents can enjoy some lovely festive days out and activities.

Volunteers kindly gave up their time to run our café, serving mulled wine, mince pies and a selection of delicious cakes. The home was beautifully decorated by our activity co-ordinators which certainly got everyone feeling very Christmassy.

The team at The Lakes dressed up as Victorian scallywags with coal on their faces and outfits to match, they all still wore a smile and kept their traditional pick-pocketing ways at bay!

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported us on the night.
