The Trust’s annual Lincolnshire Employee Awards took place at The Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa on Thursday, 19 May. Guests enjoyed a lovely lunch and were able to take advantage of the beautiful weather and sit in the lovely grounds of The Petwood Hotel.

The HM Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, Mr Andrew Clark, presented  this years Oscars to employees that have been recognized for the exceptional work they do, this years winners are;

 

2016 Award Recipients

Carer of the Year: Gail Morley from Beckside in North Hykeham

Young Carer of the Year: Chelsea Schofield from Boultham Park House in Lincoln

Unsung Hero: Sue Ely from Eresby Hall in Spilsby

Leader of the Year: Jean Bamber from Skirbeck Court in Boston and Donella Savage from Eresby Hall in Spilsby

Hospitality Award: Sue Horspool from Patchett Lodge in Holbeach

Volunteer of the Year: Helen McLoughlin from Ermine House in Lincoln

Activity Coordinator of the Year: Caressa Canner from Ermine House in Lincoln

Office/Support Employee of the Year: Lisa Phipps from Boultham Park House in Lincoln

This years Nigel Stourton Award was won by Michael Raisen from Hartsholme House for his commitment to The Trust.

Jill Hughes, County Trustee presented awards to employees that have completed qualifications during the last year.

Joyce Dearden from Fosse House and Michael Raisen from Hartsholme House were both presented  with Long Service Awards for  30 years employment with the Trust .

Two homes received Care & Quality Accreditation Awards, Outstanding Medicines Management Practice, Boultham Park House and Infection Prevention & Control: Ermine House.

Caroline Dunagan, OSJCT Assistant Operations Director for Lincolnshire, said: “Our team members play a critical role in the Trust providing our residents with the highest quality person-centred care, and, because of this, our annual ceremony is a very special event for us. Not only does it bring together our care teams from across the county, but it also gives us the opportunity to show our gratitude to all of the hard-working men and women who make a tremendous difference in our residents’ lives.

“All of the employees honoured at this year’s event have shown the utmost commitment and dedication to the Trust and everyone living under our care. Whether celebrating long service, individual training achievements and group accreditations to garnering praise from colleagues, all of 2016’s recipients are extremely deserving of the recognition and a big thank you.”
