Lincolnshire held its Harvest Festival on 5 October

On 5 October we held our Harvest Festival at The Venue in Navenby, 13 homes attended this popular event.

The displays the homes brought were fantastic and the standard was very high, the event gives the homes the opportunity to display the beautiful work they have been doing in their homes. It’s also inspirational for their colleagues to gain new ideas for activities in their homes. It was lovely to see that the activity coordinators had used some of their recent training workshops to go back to their homes and share there skills with the residents.

Grace Tomkins from the Poplars delivered a lovely Harvest service which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

This years winners were:-

Home grown fruit and vegetables – Whitefriars

Baking – Foxby Court

Jams and Pickles – Ermine House

Handycraftts – Gregory House

Flower displays – Eresby Hall

The overall harvest display was won by Ermine House, who had made fruit and vegetables from paper mache.
