Lincolnshire Staff Awards October 2014
The Annual Lincolnshire Staff Awards ceremony was held on 2 October at the Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa.
Staff and guests arrived from midday and a lovely buffet lunch was served before the awards ceremony began. As the weather was so mild many people took the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy their lunch in the beautiful surrounding gardens of the hotel.
Caroline Dunagan, Assistant Operations Director welcomed everybody to the Lincolnshire Staff Awards and thanked everyone for coming to what is such an important event in recognising the dedicated staff who work for our organisation.
This year over 70 members of staff achieved qualifications in their area of expertise and staff were presented with their awards by Jill Hughes, Trustee.
The Care & Quality Accreditation Awards were presented by Richard Hawes, Care Quality Director.
The Special Awards were presented by Tony Worth, Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire and the winners were as follows:
Carer of the Year – Tina Dorr, Boultham Park House
Young Carer of the Year – Charlotte Whitmore, Southfield House
Leader of the Year – Elaine Owen, Foxby Court
Hospitality Award – Michael Raisen, Hartsholme House
Unsung Hero – Anne Anderson, Digby Court
Volunteer of the Year – joint winners, Doris Marsh, Jean Redford, Polly Tempest and Lisa Wright, Eresby Hall
The special Lincolnshire Award “The Nigel Stourton Award” was presented by Nigel to Elaine Owen, Foxby Court.
The Long Service Awards were presented by Dan Hayes, Operations Director to the following staff:-
30 Years - Anne Smith, Beckside, Agnes Grummitt, Digby Court, Jacqui Luke, Fosse House
25 Years - Sarah Porter, Gregory House
The ceremony came to an end with our Chief Executive Andrew Cheesbrough giving a closing address congratulating our staff on the wonderful work that they do.
