Produce galore at our seventh annual Flower, Vegetable & Craft Show

Our homes best vegetables, floral displays, cakes, and handicrafts, were showcased at our seventh annual Flower, Vegetable & Craft Show held at the Assembly Hall in Melksham on Tuesday 6 September and attended by 121 residents, employees, volunteers and guests.

We were delighted that the homes cakes were judged by Colleen Russell and Lynne Punis from Seend Women’s Institute, the vegetable produce by Sheila & Peter May, local garden enthusiasts, the floral displays by Beverley Wilson & Alison Stenning, and the handicraft exhibits by Sarah Cornell & Elizabeth Grieve, companions from the Order of Malta.   Whilst the judging took place the homes enjoyed a picnic lunch and musical entertainment by Michael & Brian of MusiCare.

Awards for both the Flower, Vegetable & Craft show exhibits and the Trust in Bloom garden competition were presented by Dan Hayes, CEO, Sara Wright, HR Director and Kevin Hall, Operations Director.
