Recognised in Top 3 National League Table
The Trust has been recognised in the top 3 in the national CQC compliance league table ‘Care Monitor’, compiled by Laing Buisson. The table is a compliance measurement of large care providers across England with a rating of good or outstanding for their homes.
Trust Operations Director, Lucy Holl, comments: “We are delighted and thrilled by all the hard work and commitment of our colleagues in all the homes who work tirelessly to help support and care for our residents. This team work, alongside strong leadership, is a testament of our employees’ dedication and truly reflects the Trust’s ethos and values.”
This positioning also reflects recent Care Quality Commission inspections at the Trust which saw seven homes across counties being awarded a ‘Good’ rating. This independently endorsed success was well-received and the confirmation that the residents are happy and receiving the best possible care under qualified, capable and empathetic employees.
Further national statistics indicate that OSJCT’s Extra Care Housing (ECH) was at 100% ‘good’ rating compared to the industry standard of 83.7%. Residential care at the Trust was at 88.9% compared to the CQC average of 84.6%. Our homes which achieved an ‘outstanding’ rating topped at 6.7% against the CQC average of 3.2%. Overall, The Orders of St John Care Trust is at 88% in comparison to the national average of 83%. We are encouraged by these figures and delighted to be above the national average.
In addition, carehome.co.uk noted the Trust as a Top 20 provider, maintaining OSJCT’s position under the category of Large Care Home. Carehome.co.uk is the largest online referral site for national care homes and a forum for independent customer feedback.
