Once again the judging of Trust in Bloom has been very difficult. So much hard work and goodwill goes into making the gardens beautiful for our residents to enjoy.

The category winners are as follows;

Lincolnshire’s overall winning garden has been awarded to Gregory House , the garden has so may areas for the residents to visit and relax in , Gregory House has embraced NCS who over the last few years have contributed to various projects in the gardens this has resulted in some beautiful areas the latest being a seaside area.

Most Unusual Container – Ermine House, the minion garden that Jane has created is absolutely amazing , the attention to detail is brilliant with walking sticks and frames made out of knitting needles.

Front Garden – Patchett Lodge, a beautiful area has been created using logs that were cut down in the grounds and planted with flowers, sunflowers which were grown by the residents also greet you at the front door.

Rear Garden- Hartsholme House and Boultham park House have jointly won this award, both gardens are stunning and planted with vibrant flowers and shrubs.

Hanging Baskets – The Poplars have once again excelled with their beautiful hanging baskets even though the home is undergoing major building work.

Tubs and Planters- Skirbeck Court, the planters in the courtyards are full of beautiful sweet smelling plants and shrubs, a beautiful display for the residents to look at.

Courtyard Garden – Whitefriars, the courtyards have been decorated in bunting for the Queens birthday and set out for a tea party , the planting was carefully done and well cared for.

Day care – Patchett Lodge, the day-care residents have replanted the whole balcony with new flowers and decorated it with bunting.
