At Bartlett House we offer compassionate, individualised respite, residential and dementia care for up to 36 residents in relaxing, friendly and comfortable households. We believe our professional expert care team are the best people to provide the personal care you need.

About the Home
The home environment has been designed specifically to enhance the quality of life of those who reside at Bartlett House. Our care and activities team work together to enrich the lives of all our residents.
The home has been designed with your wellbeing and comfort in mind. Cosy lounges are available to relax in and social activities take place daily for your enjoyment. If you’d like a little more privacy, then your own bedrooms with a comfortable armchair are perfect for those moments.
Your New Home:
Bartlett House offers a relaxing and calm environment, a personal haven. There are comfortable and homely living areas, including lovingly furnished lounges, a kitchen and dining room. The rooms at Bartlett House are a personal haven for each of the residents. Each room offers an private bed-sitting room, an emergency 24 hour call system, personalised care 24 hours a day and plenty of space to personalise your room.

Tasty, Home Cooked Meals
A talented chef and kitchen team prepare tasty, home-cooked meals. The freshly prepared, delicious dishes are carefully balanced to get the best nutritional value, and cater for individual dietary requirements and preferences. Seasonal produce is chosen whenever possible and of course, relatives and friends are always welcome to join.
Bartlett house has a central dining area where residents take their meals if they wish. Tea and coffee is available through out the day, along with snacks if they feel a bit peckish.
We understand how important it is to have daily activities to take part in and enjoy. Our dedicated Activities Co-ordinators and Volunteers organise a wide programme of events around each persons requests, hobbies and interests. The team will be delighted to assist you to continue with existing hobbies, as well as give you the opportunity to try something new if you would like to.
They make sure everyone can enjoy themselves to the fullest, be that with arts and crafts, or more individual pursuits. Visits from outside entertainers happen regularly. Each resident receives one-to-one time with the Activities Co-ordinators and together they will work on their own personal activity plan and goals.
A typical daily activity schedule might include any of the following:

- Cheese and wine evenings
- Petting zoo
- Visiting musicians
- Local plays
- Arts and crafts
- Regimental visits
- Flower arranging
- Cookery club
- Church services
With so many well-being activities for body and mind, we also recognise that everyone needs some time to honour their spirit with relaxation and mindfulness for personal reflection. The cosy lounges and dining areas offer an opportunity to socialise with friends and family or join in larger social events, but you will also find places to enjoy peace and quiet.
