Services offered: Extra Care Housing
Fernleigh is a development of 80 one and two bedroom apartments. Situated at Leys Park, close to Witney town centre, Fernleigh offers a wonderful, convenient lifestyle, with access to a wide range of shops and leisure facilities, along with excellent transport links.
Fernleigh is owned and managed by GreenSquare Homes. OSJCT was appointed as care provider by Oxfordshire County Council as the result of a competitive tender.
The spacious and well appointed apartments offer you a warm, secure and beautiful living space, where you can live independently safe in the knowledge that the care and support you need is on hand. Each home has a fitted kitchen with oven hob and extractor, and a shower room. Some apartments have double opening doors to a Juliet balcony. Every apartment is equipped with a wall-mounted intercom connected to the Reception or Duty Manager, and each resident will have a personal call alarm fob that can be worn on the wrist or around the neck.
The spacious communal facilities include a restaurant, a comfortable lounge, craft room and hairdressing salon. There will also be the opportunity to join in organised activities - perhaps a social get together with neighbours or a gentle exercise class, depending on the wishes of residents.
Secure doors cover the access to lifts and stairways to your apartment, so you can decide who you wish to admit. Outside, the beautiful gardens are accessible by level pathways and there is a mobility scooter recharging room where you can store your scooter if you so wish.
