Mayott House is situated on Ock Street, Abingdon close to all the shops and leisure facilities this attractive Oxfordshire town offers, with easily accessible public transport.
Opened in August 2015, this modern development has 40 spacious apartments with stylish ensuite facilities (36 one bedroom apartments are available to rent with 4 two bedroom apartments that can be purchased on a shared ownership basis). Every apartment has a lounge and and dining area, adjoining fitted kitchenette and "wet room" style bathrooms, equipped with shower, wash basin and toilet.
The apartments have been designed to help provide a cost-effective way of remaining independent, but with access to care and support services tailored to suit your needs, giving you and your family peace of mind that you have access to a high quality of care when it is needed. Individual care plans are provided by The Orders of St John Care Trust, with 24 hour emergency care services available.
The aim of Extra Care Housing is not only to provide care, but to give you the independence you seek without ever feeling isolated. The importance of human contact for the elderly is widely recognised, and thoughtfully designed developments such as these help reduce social isolation and loneliness.
All residents of Mayott House enjoy an on-site hair salon, communal garden, sun lounge and laundry room. You can join in the many social activities in an environment where you can make friends and get to know like-minded people.
