Mike Sidaway entertained us with American classic songs in the morning. He was met with enthusiastic singing accompaniment from our residents, who confirmed they would like him to come again. 

The menu for our Tastes of the World lunch was Southern Fried Chicken, Chilli Dogs and Mac'n'Cheese, with Baked Cheesecake and Chocolate Fudge Cake for dessert.  Residents and  team members all joined in the theme by waving American flags to the Country and Western tunes, and wearing cowboy or Stars and Stripes hats. Everyone had great fun, and they looked marvellous. 

After lunch, Vita Nuova Fitness gave us a class, where residents, relatives and the activities team performed salsa dance moves for all round fitness and used light dumbells for strength, all to some great Latin music.

We were delighted to be joined by family members to share in the fun and the residents commented how much they enjoyed the day, with something for everyone.
