We’re always smiling at Avonbourne Care Centre in Old Sarum, Salisbury.  Friday was no exception.  We laughed and sang and danced for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day 2021.  This year, perhaps more than ever, it seemed important to have some fun.  After all, that’s the whole ethos of Comic Relief.

The team of activities co-ordinators at Avonbourne, Alex, Carol, Jane and Malick, had lots of creativity  and games planned and there was something to suit all tastes.  The red nose cookies we baked were absolutely delicious and very moreish!

The activities team organised some bowling, with red nose inspired pins, and of course, we didn’t forget our outfits.  Besides our own squishy red noses, we decorated funny hats on the Red Nose Day theme.  Jennis told us that wearing her hat – with a red nose on top – made her smile, which is what the whole day was about.

We’ve all had such a giggle!
