Back to School
Residents reminisce about their schooldays
We so enjoyed going back in time to our school days earlier in the month.
We started the week off with a maths trivia test. This brought back so many happy memories of studying maths and we know that using maths keeps our brains sharp.
We also recited some of our favourite poems. The top poem selected was 'I wandered lonely as a cloud' aka 'Daffodils' by William Wordsworth.
And that's not all... we were lucky that resident Shirley read some lovely poems aloud to everyone.
We loved sharing special memories of our favourite things from our schooldays and playing noughts and crosses - a game that requires strategy, tactics and observation skills.
And as for PE, we had time to play bowls with Trowbridge Town Bowls Club.
And to round off the week, we loved sharing stories about our travels around the world and our favourite places to visit before sketching sunflowers using chalk. Phew!
With the class dismissed for another week, we are pleased to report nobody ended up in the headmaster's office this time around!
