North Oxfordshire OSJCT homes and schemes are hosting a free Care Fair in Banbury on 1 October, offering expert advice, dementia guidance, and local care support. Open to all, helping families explore care options with confidence.
Banbury residents can discover more about local care, support and services at a free Community Care Fair on Thursday 1 October, bringing together care providers and community organisations to offer advice, information and guidance for individuals and families.
The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) is inviting local residents to its Banbury Community Care Fair at Longford Park Community Centre, bringing together experienced care teams, local providers and organisations to help people navigate their care journey and make informed decisions for themselves or their loved ones.
Taking place from 10.30am to 2.00pm on Thursday 1 October, the event is open to everyone and provides an opportunity to find out more about the range of care and support available locally.
Visitors will be able to meet the OSJCT team and discover more about the high-quality care provided by the Trust, including residential, nursing, dementia, respite and day care. They can also learn more about OSJCT's varied programme of community events and activities, which are designed to support wellbeing, encourage meaningful connections and help people remain active and engaged.
Alongside OSJCT, other local care providers and organisations Including Age UK, Dementia Oxfordshire, SOLLA, Carers Oxfordshire, Home Instead and NHS Talking Therapies will be on hand to share helpful information, advice and details about valuable services available in the local community. Whether families are beginning to explore care options, looking for additional support or simply want to understand what is available locally, the Care Fair offers a welcoming opportunity to ask questions and speak directly with experienced professionals.
The event is designed to help people feel more informed and confident when considering care and support, while also highlighting the importance of local connections and collaboration in supporting older people, families and carers.
