Bourne House resident travelled to Bournemouth for a pre-Christmas gig
Caroline, a huge Gary Barlow fan, had the Greatest Day seeing him live in concert last month.
Caroline and her daughter have been Take That fans for many years, first seeing the band in concert as they were starting out, when Jenny was just 12 years old. Since then, Jenny has seen both Take That and Robbie Williams perform live.
Caroline’s super-fan status has grown over the last two years. Wondering Could It Be Magic? since the first lockdown started, Caroline has spent many happy hours listening to music written and performed by Barlow, and can confidently say Yes! She listens to all his albums (she has the full set) and also enjoys watching him on YouTube and on television. In her spare time, Caroline reads his autobiographies.
The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) is where the ladies first saw their heroes perform, so it was fitting that they returned to Bournemouth for this show on 15th December. Jenny was grateful to the team at the BIC who really took their opportunity to Shine, accommodating Caroline’s needs and even giving their party better seats.
Having booked tickets as a surprise Christmas present back in April, the ladies waited with Patience for the right time to reveal their secret. Jenny said, “Mum had no idea where we were taking her until we got to the venue, she thought she was going to the pantomime and her face was a picture!”
It was a night that Caroline will Never Forget. She is now planning to show How Deep Is HER Love by going to see Gary again when he next goes on tour with Take That.
