Beverley Cottam, Care Leader at Hartsholme House in Lincoln, received the Order of Malta Bronze Medal of Merit at the St John’s Day mass at the Brompton Oratory on Friday 23 June. She received the medal for being a positive leader and her diligence in her role as Infection Control Lead at the care home.

Beverley joined OSJCT in 2001 and worked at Boultham Park and Foxby Court before taking up her current role at Hartsholme House. She said: “I am honoured to receive this Medal. It was very special to attend the St John’s Day mass and I felt welcomed by everyone at the event.

“This honour was very unexpected as this is a job that I love. I’ve worked as a carer since my son was young, and it has been an ideal role to fit around family life. I love working at Hartsholme House as it really is one big family.  

Ten OSJCT employees received Order of Malta Medals of Merit in 2023. The Order of Malta is one of OSJCT’s two sponsoring orders.
