With Christmas nearly upon us, the team at Lake House has been bustling with preparations to ensure a magical holiday for our residents. The festive spirit is alive and well as every detail has been carefully planned to make the day truly special.

The Christmas cards have all been written, and our cupboards are brimming with festive food and drink. The cakes, lovingly baked, have been fed with brandy over the past weeks and are being beautifully iced today. Meanwhile, brightly wrapped presents sit ready under the tree, waiting to bring smiles to everyone's faces tomorrow.

The festivities will begin at 11am in the main hall, where residents will gather for a glass of sherry, Christmas cards and presents. This is always a heartwarming time filled with laughter and joy, as residents share in the spirit of giving.

At 12 midday, the celebrations will continue with a traditional Christmas lunch served in the main hall. Our talented kitchen team has prepared a sumptuous feast with all the classic trimmings, ensuring a delicious meal for everyone to enjoy. Later in the evening, a delightful buffet supper will be served, offering a variety of tasty options for residents to savor at their leisure.

Throughout the day, sweet treats, chocolates, and festive goodies will be available, adding an extra layer of indulgence to the holiday cheer.
