Christmas Coffee Morning at Edwardstow Court
A Christmas twist on Edwardstow Court's Friday Coffee Morning
Every Friday morning Edwardstow Court in Stow-on-the-Wold open their doors to the local community and invites them in to join them for their coffee morning. This week was a little different and coffee morning became all about Christmas with visitors and residents enjoying Christmas cakes, decorated biscuits and even some delicious mince pies!
The intricate details on some of the Christmas cupcakes were amazing and had been handmade by one of the team at Edwardstow Court.
There were also some stalls to browse through including handmade cards, handmade jewellery and of course the main event … the residents stall. Residents have spent weeks making felt decorations, handmade wrapping paper, bath salts and some pouches of reindeer food! All proceeds from the resident’s stall go into their amenities fund and the residents decide on trips they’d like to go on with the funds.
The tables were decorated with Christmas crackers and Christmas props which residents and visitors had great fun with and took some brilliant selfies.
Raffle tickets for the Christmas raffle were on sale and will be on sale until the draw at Edwardstow’s Mulled Wine and Carols on Saturday 14th December, drop into the home if you’d like to buy some raffle tickets. Everyone is welcome to join Edwardstow on Saturday 14th December at 6pm.
