At Larkrise, Christmas morning begins with a heartwarming tradition. Jade Wise, our Activities Coordinator, and Hannah Larner, our  Home Manager, will join the festivities by personally handing out presents to our residents. Alongside the thoughtful gift-giving, they’ll take photos with residents, capturing the joy and magic of the holiday season.

“Christmas is such a special time for our residents, and we want to make sure everyone feels loved and included,” said Jade Wise.

Families are a vital part of Christmas at Larkrise, and many have shared plans to visit their loved ones throughout the day. For those staying with us, a traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings will be served. Some family members will join us for this special meal, ensuring that no one spends Christmas alone.

For a few residents, they will head out to spend time with their loved ones outside the home before coming back to join in the Larkrise festivities.

Afternoon Activities and Cozy Traditions
After the festive lunch, the spirit of Christmas continues across each household. Residents and staff will enjoy activity sheets and games together, creating a sense of community and cheer. Families visiting during this time can join in or simply relax as everyone comes together to celebrate.

As the afternoon unfolds, traditional Christmas TV shows will fill the rooms with nostalgia and laughter, complemented by plenty of Christmas treats and drinks to keep the holiday spirit alive.
