Dates for your diary! New ways to get involved at Spencer Court
The residents and team at Spencer Court in Woodstock love to welcome the community into the home, and there are now more ways than ever for people to get involved.
In addition to its monthly afternoon teas that launched in August, this summer the home hosted its annual summer fete which was attended by lots of local families and relatives of the residents, and an open air cinema screening which welcomed guests to enjoy a film in the home’s peaceful gardens.
Don’t worry if you missed out in the summer because Spencer Court has a lot of events lined up this autumn and winter, including the following:
- Bonfire bangers and mash lunch – Tuesday 5th November, 12.00pm-1.30pm
- History talk for Remembrance Day – Monday 11th November, 10.30am-12.00pm
- Christmas carols by candlelight – Tuesday 17th December, 4.00pm-5.30pm
- Fish and chip Fridays – coming soon
If you cannot make any of these events but would still like to get involved at the home, perhaps you might like to volunteer at Spencer Court on days that suit you. Find out how to apply here.
Everyone at Spencer Court looks forward to welcoming you soon!
