The session will focus on the family journey following a dementia diagnosis, we will talk about the importance of gaining a dementia diagnosis, the help and support that is available and signs that your family may need to look at some extra care or support for their loved one living with dementia. We will also look at the most common types of dementia and how they differ from each other.

Admiral Nurses are registered nurses who specialise in dementia care and work collaboratively with families and care providers, sharing their expertise and giving them the support and skills needed.
