St James’s Place Wealth Management has donated 1,800 chocolate eggs to bring some Easter cheer to residents living in 18 homes run by The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT).
A spokesperson for St James’s Place said: “We appreciate, in these unprecedented circumstances, that social distancing and isolation may be having a profound effect on many in our local communities and we hope these gifts will bring some small pleasure at such a difficult time.”
Sian Dewhurst, Volunteer Events Manager for OSJCT, was among the Trust employees dropping off the donated Easter eggs at care home front doors this week.
She said: “This is an incredibly kind gesture, which we are sure will be appreciated by our homes. It really means so much to our residents to know that other people are thinking of them at this time.”
