The musical talents of residents and employees at OSJCT care homes came to the fore in a creative challenge to write and perform original lyrics to a festive tune for a Christmas carol competition run by the Trust. Edwardstow Court were delighted to be crowned as finalists in Gloucestershire with Monkscroft Care Centre being announced the overall winner.

On the twelfth day of Christmas Edwardstow court gave to me -

A beautiful home

Our handy man

The house keepers

A sensory garden

The Village Street

Our Volunteers

Competition Judge, OSJCT Chief Executive Dan Hayes said: “I have really enjoyed watching these wonderful festive performances by our residents and teams across our homes. Well done to all those who entered and especially to our winners and finalists.”

Many of the performances have been shared on social media so that friends and family members of loved ones in OSJCT homes can also enjoy them in the lead-up to Christmas.
