Edwardstow Court launches bunting design competition for community Easter eggs-travaganza
Meet farm animals, go on an egg hunt and enjoy delicious treats at the home's Easter Fun Day on Saturday 12 April

Edwardstow Court Care Centre in Stow-on-the-Wold is inviting its residents as well as local children and members of the community to take part in a special Easter-themed competition to design decorative bunting for the care home. This intergenerational initiative aims to bring joy to the care home’s residents while fostering creativity and connection within the community.
Participants are encouraged to create colourful and festive Easter designs, which will be used to decorate Edwardstow Court for the home’s Easter Fun Day on Saturday 12 April. The competition is open to all ages, with winners receiving a small prize and the satisfaction of seeing their artwork brighten the home.
“This competition is about more than just decorations,” says Matthew Peach, Home Manager at Edwardstow Court. “It’s about building connections, encouraging creativity at any age, and bringing generations together through a shared celebration of Easter.”
Residents are excited to see the entries, and many will be helping to judge the winning designs.
Submissions from members of the community as well as residents will be accepted until Monday 7 April, and winners will be announced during Edwardstow Court’s Easter Fun Day on Saturday 12 April.
The Easter Fun Day is free for all to attend and promises to be an eggs-travaganza for all the community, with mobile petting farm Good Day Farm, an Easter egg hunt and free refreshments on offer.
