Ann-Marie Palmer, OSJCT Finance Support Administrator received the Order of Malta Bronze Medal of Merit at the St John’s Day mass at the Brompton Oratory on Friday 23 June. She received the medal for her tireless work supporting Gloucestershire care homes during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ann-Marie joined the Trust to work for one of the Gloucestershire homes over 12 years ago. She moved to the Central Finance Team after four years. She played an important role coordinating the Gloucestershire PPE store during the Covid-19 pandemic, often delivering important supplies to homes late in the evening. She said: “I was honoured to be chosen to receive an Order of Malta medal. It was lovely to take part in the ceremony on the day, to see Members of the Order in their robes. I felt humbled to be there.”
