Grace Care Centre Excels in Recent Inspection
The report highlighted the high standards and luxurious feel of the home
Grace Care Centre has received excellent feedback and results from a recent inspection carried out by the ICI (Independent Care Inspections).
The inspection marked the home across ten different areas which included: quality, infection control, nutrition/catering and individualised care and treatment.
Grace Care Centre achieved a score of 94% and above in all ten areas, including a score of 100% in half of them.
Summarising their findings, the ICI said: “Grace Care Centre is a home that provides care to self-funding residents. The service is maturing well and is all but recovered from an unstable period with effective and engaging home management. The staff team are energetic, friendly, professional, and supportive and work well together.”
“The home is built and fitted out to a high standard and looks and feels luxurious, as per the branding. Residents are very satisfied and enjoy the home and support the staff. The home has improved considerably since the Inspection in 2019 and will become stronger as occupancy increases.”
Mel Isherwood, Home Manager at Grace Care Centre, said: “We are delighted with the feedback we have received from the ICI and the fact they have recognised the further improvements that we have continued to implement across the home. This report truly is a credit to all of the team at Grace who go above and beyond to provide care centred around each individual.”
