She was accompanied on her shopping trip by our General Manager, who drove her to Waitrose in Salisbury.  After picking up a few bits, she fancied some freshly cooked chicken from the Deli counter.  The person serving her took extra special care to make sure she had exactly what she wanted; “a bit of the breast from that one, and a bit of the leg from the other one” made both of them giggle and share a lovely experience.  Vera then spent the whole journey home telling Simon all about the ‘lovely man’.
