CEO, Dan Hayes, came to Brookside to draw the winning ticket, and Paul Ford, a Melksham resident, clinched the coveted prize. The raffle, organised to support the residents' amenities fund, exceeded all expectations, raising an impressive £624. These funds will be key in providing residents with additional recreational opportunities and enriching experiences. 

Dawn Wallburton, Home Manager at Brookside, said; “We’re bowled over by the generosity of Sharon and her father, Steve. Their gift will make such a difference to our residents and we’re all so grateful to them. So many people are finding things hard at the moment so to be able to give someone a holiday and a chance to make memories with their family is really special.”

Sharon and her family also donated leisure passes for the Haven park to allow the winner to make the most of all the facilities on offer at the site in Somerset.
