Introducing Coombe End Court’s New Mascot: Help Us Name Our Puffin and Win Exciting Prizes!
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new mascot , who represents everything we stand for at our care home: protection, care, and a strong sense of community.

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new mascot for our residents and team at Coombe End Court in Marlborough. Our mascot represents everything we stand for at our care home: protection, care, and a strong sense of community.
Why a Puffin?
The puffin is a symbol of protection and care, traits that align perfectly with the values we share at Coombe End Court. We have sponsored a puffin through the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, and with that, we have received a cuddly puffin of our own, and now he or she needs a name. We’re inviting the public to get involved by suggesting potential names for our puffin mascot. This is your chance to have a say in what we call the puffin, and we have some exciting prizes up for grabs.
The Prize
In addition, the runner-up will receive a family ticket to Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm worth £30, offering the chance to experience the farm’s incredible collection of animals – perfect for a fun day out with loved ones.
How to Enter
To enter the competition, simply head to our Facebook page or Instagram and share your name suggestion for our puffin mascot in the comments of our competition post. All names will be reviewed by our team, and the final decision will be made by our residents, ensuring they are part of this special moment.
The competition will run until 28 February, so make sure to get your entries in before the deadline. Winners will be announced after 7 March, and we’ll be revealing the chosen name on our Facebook and Instagram page.
Get Involved
We love to be part of the local community and for us, this is a wonderful opportunity to have a bit of fun and involve the community with our care home. We believe that care is not just about providing a service—it’s about creating a strong, supportive community where everyone feels included and valued. By finding a name for our mascot, we’re bringing even more personality to the heart of our home.
Keep an eye on our social media for updates and to see the winning name revealed. We’re looking forward to seeing your creative suggestions, and we’re excited to introduce our puffin mascot to the world!
