The Lakes Care Centre April round up
We’ve been enjoying the Spring weather and have spent time in the garden making plans for our sensory garden.
Our new Home Manager Shelley Hearn has been with us a month now and has identified a space for a sensory garden. One of the regular volunteers at the home is going to project manage the development of this new garden. Shelley said: “We are very excited about creating this sensory garden which residents can enjoy in many different ways. We are inviting the local community to share their views and come and help with creating it.”
Shelley said: “I’m so pleased to be here, we have a great team here, plenty of support and resources available from the Trust and a very engaged community. This year we plan to host more events and visitors, and invite the community to enjoy this safe, vibrant, and well-run home.”
