Colleagues from The Lakes Care Centre have been out in the local community, volunteering their time to support the South Cotswold Food Bank with a donation collection at Tesco in Cirencester.

Home Manager Nikkie, together with colleagues Lloyd and Jo, spent time encouraging shoppers to donate essential food and household items for local people and families experiencing hardship. Their efforts helped raise vital donations that will make a real difference across the South Cotswolds.

The volunteering initiative reflects The Lakes' ongoing commitment to supporting not only residents, but also the wider community. By working alongside local organisations such as the South Cotswold Food Bank, the team continues to demonstrate the compassion, generosity and community spirit that are at the heart of the home.

Home Manager Nikkie said:

We are passionate about being part of our local community and supporting people whenever we can. It was wonderful to see so many generous donations from shoppers, and we're grateful to everyone who contributed. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.

Everyone at The Lakes is incredibly proud of the team for giving their time to such an important cause and helping ensure local people receive the support they need.
