Lewin House brought residents, families, and team members together for a joyful Easter celebration, filled with reflection, togetherness, and plenty of cheer.
At the heart of the day was a special church service hosted by Tim and Jean from Aston Clinton Baptist Church, who are familiar and much-valued visitors to the home. Regular church services are an important part of life at Lewin House, helping residents stay connected to their faith, routines, and traditions. These moments provide comfort, reassurance, and a sense of continuity, particularly for those living with dementia, where familiar experiences can be especially meaningful.
The Easter service was a reminder of long-held traditions offering residents a chance to come together in a calm and uplifting setting, joining in prayers, hymns, and shared reflection.
Following the service, celebrations continued with a surprise visit from a very special guest – the Easter Bunny. Bringing smiles and laughter along the way, the Easter Bunny made their way around the home, delivering Easter eggs to residents and spreading seasonal joy to all.
The simple gesture of gifting Easter eggs added a touch of fun and nostalgia, making the day even more memorable for everyone involved.
Residents, families, and team members embraced the occasion, enjoying the sense of community that filled Lewin House throughout the day. The combination of meaningful reflection and light-hearted celebration ensured there was something for everyone to enjoy.
