The Magic of Finger Puppets
Knit & Natter group create beautiful puppets for local children
We found a loving home for our beautifully knitted finger puppets, designed and created by our Knit & Natter Group.
The whimsical characters were handed over to teacher, Liam from Hullavington C of E Primary School, as a gift for pupils to play with.
Knitted during Children's Mental Health Week, puppets have been found to allay anxiety. They are magical because they exist in a special place between imagination and reality.
Research has shown that children are very responsive to puppets because they are alive enough that children respond to them emotionally but pretend enough that they don't feel scary.
We love them!
