Here’s a quick introduction to some of our key team members, led by Home Manager, Alison Stenning, each bringing unique skills, backgrounds, and a deep commitment to caring.

Georgie Hill – Support Worker

Georgie joined us in 2020, bringing with her the warm hospitality of her previous role running a pub with her dad. She loves being a part of each resident’s day, learning about their lives, and supporting them in ways that nurture their independence. Outside work, Georgie enjoys spending time with her family.

Suzanne Davison – Support Worker  

Suzanne, who joined in 2023, has seamlessly transitioned from cabin crew to care work. Her attention to detail shines as she remembers each resident's personal preferences, like how they like their tea or toast. With her young family, she enjoys spending time outdoors, embracing the beauty of the countryside.

Jemima McGrath – Activities Coordinator

Since joining in early 2024, Jemima has created a vibrant programme of activities tailored to each resident’s interests. From quiz games to curling and bingo, Jemima ensures there’s always something engaging on the calendar. A dedicated community leader, she also runs a Brownie group and teaches ballet.

Glynnis Galloway – Care Service Manager

With Hayward Care Centre since 2015 and a qualified psychiatric nurse, Glynnis brings both experience and heart to her role. She supports residents with compassion, ensuring they live their lives as they choose. Glynnis also volunteers locally with an Alzheimer’s support group, making a difference inside and outside of work.

Peter King – Bursar

Peter oversees the day-to-day logistics, from housekeeping to catering, to create a comfortable, welcoming environment. A retired Army veteran with 37 years of service, Peter has been with us since 2019 and loves spending his free time fly-fishing or with his grandchildren.

Together, this team is the heart of Hayward, bringing joy, care, and companionship to our community each day.
