Party goers enjoyed refreshments and entertainment from the Gloucester Strings Ukulele Band. Doreen Paisley, Home Manager, said:
“We are excited to celebrate our 10th anniversary and to see so many family, friends and members of the community join us. Monkscroft Care Centre is at the heart of a wonderful community, where everyone is passionate and brings bags of energy to support our home. I’m incredibly proud of the team and the care they deliver to our residents. Despite a tough couple of years, it’s been a wonderful 10 years and we look forward to the next 10!”
Patricia Jeal, who has lived at Monkscroft for six years, said: “The best thing about living here are the people you get to meet. We often have parties and entertainers like today’s band. We also spend time outside having a barbecue in the summer. It helps to liven everything up.”
