Mother and daughter advocate COVID-19 vaccine take up
“We encourage everyone to go and get jabbed! Together we can beat it!”
Front line healthcare workers Natalie Fletcher and Natasha Evans have had their COVID-19 vaccine, along with other team members from Ashwood Care Centre, at the White Horse Health Clinic in Westbury.
The duo, who were also first in line for their flu vaccine last year, are asking others to follow suit. They have been sharing details of their vaccinations across their social media and with colleagues.
Mum Natalie and daughter Natasha have worked together as Activities Coordinators at the 82-bed care home in Warminster since Natasha joined in 2018.
Natalie said: “Natasha and I feel really grateful and privileged to have been given the vaccine. It’s the only way we will be able to eradicate this awful virus.

Mother and daughter make up a three-strong team of Activities Coordinators at the home where they have regular contact with residents in their social bubbles as they run games and activities to promote health and wellbeing. Activities this winter have included conkers, Oktoberfest beer tasting, colouring and window decorating and small bubble sized Christmas parties.
Natalie said. “I am passionate about promoting this vaccine. I am looking forward eagerly to the days of open doors at the care home where resident can mix freely, and relatives and volunteers can visit as often as they like.”
