Opportunity for relatives to give feedback on visiting policy
Register to participate before 11 October.
The Care Minister Gillian Keegan MP is interested in gathering feedback from relatives and loved ones of care home residents about their experiences during the pandemic. They would like to hear views on recent changes in care home visiting guidance and what changes could be made in the future to improve this.
The DHSC is proposing to host a series of online focus group, conducted via video conferencing (Zoom/Teams) and would like to invite people to participate. The feedback provided will help them in shaping future guidance which works for the care home, residents and their loved ones.
They are looking to speak to a range of people with difference experiences of visiting relatives in care homes. Anyone interested in taking part is asked to complete the online application form at: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NMH9QHT
The deadline is Monday 11 October for applications via the survey link.
The DHSC may not be able to include all volunteers in the focus group process due to limited time. You will be contacted if you have been selected to participate.
