OSJCT Celebrates Triple Success at the Florence Awards 2026

The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) is celebrating after receiving three prestigious Florence Awards, including recognition as one of the UK's Best Places to Work.

OSJCT has been named a Best Place to Work 2026, while Chestnut Court was awarded Best Care Home and Milton Keynes Supported Living was recognised as Best Supported Living Service.

The awards recognise the caring and supportive environment OSJCT strives to create for residents, people who use its services and colleagues alike. From delivering outstanding care to fostering a positive and rewarding workplace culture, the awards recognise the dedication shown by colleagues across the Trust every day.

Being named a Best Place to Work is a particularly significant achievement, highlighting OSJCT's investment in colleague wellbeing, career development and creating an environment where people feel valued, respected and empowered to thrive.

The success of Chestnut Court demonstrates the home's commitment to delivering person-centred care and creating a welcoming community where residents can continue to enjoy fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Meanwhile, the award for Milton Keynes Supported Living recognises the team's passion for enabling people to live independently, achieve personal goals and remain connected to their local communities.

Louise Berg, People Director of OSJCT, said:

"We are incredibly proud to have received these awards. Being recognised as a Best Place to Work, alongside celebrating the achievements of Chestnut Court and Milton Keynes Supported Living, is a fantastic endorsement of the culture we have built across OSJCT."

"These awards belong to our colleagues. Every day they demonstrate compassion, professionalism and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of the people we care for and support. Their dedication is what makes OSJCT such a special organisation, and we could not be prouder."

OSJCT supports thousands of people across England through its care homes and supported living services. As a not-for-profit organisation, the Trust continues to invest in high-quality care, colleague development and innovative ways to enhance the lives of residents and the people it supports.

The Florence Awards recognise excellence across health and social care, celebrating organisations and teams that are making a positive difference for both the people they support and the colleagues who deliver those services.

This latest recognition marks another milestone for OSJCT and reinforces its reputation as an organisation where people can flourish, whether as a resident, supported living tenant, volunteer or colleague.

Congratulations to everyone at Chestnut Court, Milton Keynes Supported Living and across the wider OSJCT family on this fantastic achievement.
